2025 Costa Rica Sculpture Workshops with Kevin Chambers

Join us for a wonderful 7 day figurative sculpture workshop in the paradise of Santa Teresa Costa Rica at the beautiful Casa Marbella Hotel! This very unique workshop blends high quality classical figurative sculpture instruction with a one of a kind vacation experience. Students will spend 5 days sculpting from the live model in an open air studio overlooking the ocean. We will also arrange two excursion days so you will have time to explore the beautiful surroundings of Costa Rica or just take a day off and lay by the gorgeous infinity pool. Students will sculpt in oil based plasticine over a provided wire armature. Participants will have the option of bringing their completed sculpture home with them after the workshop. The workshop includes, transportation to and from Tambor airport to Casa Marbella, home cooked traditional vegetarian Costa Rica breakfast each morning, and a closing dinner celebration prepared by a private chef at Casa Marbella. We rent the entire facility just for the workshop so there are many different housing options available on a first come first serve basis. Please contact us for further details and to register for the workshops.
