FIGURE SCULPTURE CLASSES IN ATLANTA AT KLC STUDIOS with Kevin Chambers N.S.S. :

We provide figure sculpture classes throughout the year at KLC Studios in Atlanta GA. KLC Studios facilities have been designed to create an ideal environment for sculpture instruction, giving students the unique opportunity to learn in a working sculpture studio.

The sculpture classes cover how to sculpt the human form using a water based clay. I provide individual instruction enabling each student to work at their own pace - including both beginners and advanced students. Kevin believes heavily in the importance of drawing so each class will begin with 30 mins of gesture drawing from the live model so bring your sketchbooks.

The classes focus on teaching each student how to develop their ability to see correct proportion and gesture with a heavy focus on anatomy. Each class has a provided live model - but students are welcome to work on their own projects if they do not want to sculpt from the model. The class will have one model with the same pose for the full 8 weeks.

KLC studios will provide bisque firing of each students piece at the end of each session. The class does not cover mold making, but molds can be provided at an additional cost.

We accept all major credit cards and do require a $100 deposit to secure your spot in the class.
